The work schedule of the President of Belarus is always very eventful. Alexander Lukashenko holds conferences and working meetings on the most pressing issues of the country's development, regularly visits the regions, makes foreign visits and receives foreign guests himself, communicates with journalists, signs decrees and laws. And even when there are no public events, this does not mean at all that the HEAD of state is not working. However, during the rest, whether it's hockey training or chopping wood, Alexander Lukashenko no, no, yes, and he will find a reason for the next assignment. As he likes to say, in everything one must proceed from life.
The "President's Week" project is for those who want to keep up with the head of state, to be aware of the most relevant statements and decisions of the Belarusian leader.
Who and for what merits became the new head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food; will Lula da Silva , President of Brazil, Lula da Silva , a longtime friend and colleague of Alexander Lukashenko, come to Belarus and why this should be done in winter; that the country has declared a new youth construction site.
And also about how the aviation industry of Belarus is coping with sanctions, the "crazy thought" and the new dream of the President, the domestic national car, the main component in the Games of the CIS countries, a large-scale experiment in agriculture and much more in the next issue of the BelTA special project "President's Week ".
FROM AGRONOMIST TO MINISTER. How Lukashenka chose a new head of the Ministry of Agriculture and FoodThe post of Minister of Agriculture and Food, which became vacant after the appointment of assistant for the Vitebsk region, did not remain vacant for long. And how could it be otherwise - the harvest is in full swing, and the "front commander" should be in place. That is why Alexander Lukashenko at a conference call instructed to select candidates for the post of minister within a week. But it took a little more time to make the final choice.
For example, Yury Valevaty, the first deputy chairman of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee, almost moved to the ministerial chair in Minsk, about which BelTA wrote following the results of Alexander Lukashenko in the Berestovitsky district.
But in the end, on August 8, the portfolio of the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food went to a native of the Brest region, Sergei Bartosh, who previously worked as an assistant to the President - an inspector for the Gomel region. He was appointed to this post in October last year, and even earlier served as chairman of the Berezovsky district executive committee.
In general, the new minister has rich experience in agriculture at various levels. In addition to the basic profession of an agronomist, he improved his qualifications, acquired managerial baggage both at the helm of an agricultural enterprise and in responsible positions at the district and regional levels. All this together predetermined the final choice of Alexander Lukashenko.
"Of the several candidates that were offered to me a week ago, I choose you. Because you have a decent life path. It is very important that the minister also works as the head of an agricultural enterprise. This is extremely important. As in industry, if the minister or deputy prime minister so that they go this way as the head of this or that industrial organization. The same is true here,” the Belarusian leader said, “It seems that by age and experience you are a person just right for this position. appointment of you as a minister."
About mobilizationThey say that horses are not changed at the crossing. But the coachman - quite. And the current time is not at all the time for the new minister to get in the know for a long time. We'll have to do it right off the bat, because now agriculture is "in the moment" - the middle of harvesting. And that's just grains.
And the weather in Belarus is often unpredictable. It will either dry up or flood, as Alexander Lukashenko often says. And this summer it really is. “We had to prepare for the Lord to pour out everything that 45 days did not give out in the form of rain. So it happened. You see it, you know these problems. And in these conditions we will have to ensure food security,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
Alexander LukashenkoAlexander Lukashenko drew attention to how compressed all the work in the countryside is in this period. It is also necessary to harvest crops from the fields, and after the drought, with the onset of rains, the grass actively began to grow. Accordingly, it is necessary to seize the moment and prepare grassy feed. On the other hand, there is also a large scope of work on the fields vacated during the harvest. "Straw, peeling. And the most important thing is the sowing of winter crops. Rapeseed has begun to be sown everywhere. Winter barley is on the way. We need to sow. Quickly free the fields for sowing winter crops. That is, everything is compressed into one heap. I warned you about this at the selector" - listed the head of state.
As for food security, Alexander Lukashenko has no doubt that it will be ensured, but this is not the time to relax: “We will procure a little less than a million tons of cereals for state needs. We will procure the required amount of rapeseed. We already see this. it follows that we will not have problems with animal feed grains either. But now we need to mobilize."
About the winter sowing strategyAlexander Lukashenko made a special emphasis on the sowing of winter crops: “Today, the main attention should be paid to the sowing of winter crops. And I have already spoken about the Vitebsk region, the Mogilev region. And in all regions, especially the northern part of Belarus, it is very important to sow in time. crops. Winter rape, barley. To start harvesting earlier next year. Because when harvesting ends in the Brest region (in southern Belarus), we only get involved in harvesting in the Vitebsk region due to weather conditions."
"Therefore, there is only one way out - to sow crops that need to be harvested early. Somewhere at least from mid-July. And there should definitely be at least half of such crops in the Vitebsk region. No matter how difficult it is, we need to do it," the Belarusian stressed. leader.
About tasks by regionsIt is also important for the President that the new minister knows the Gomel region well from his previous post. "In the name of the revolution, we need to pull the Gomel region out of the swamp in which it found itself. You see this better than me. There Ivan Ivanovich Krupko (chairman of the regional executive committee and ex-head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. - Approx. BelTA), who wants to work, maybe he understands agriculture. He will need help, of course," Alexander Lukashenko instructed.
“Well, we have a lot of problems in the Mogilev and Vitebsk regions. Yes, and in the Minsk region - a huge region, the northern part, and so on,” the President added.
GOOD TRADITION. What Belarus has declared youth constructionOn August 9, the Head of State signed Decree No. 257, according to which the construction projects of the educational and recreational institution "Republican Center for Patriotic Education of Youth" on the basis of the Kobrin fortification of the Brest Fortress were given the status of All-Belarusian Youth Construction.
Young people aged 14 to 31 will be involved in the work at these facilities, including those in student teams. It is noted that this decision will contribute to the labor education of young people, the formation of a sense of ownership in the history of their native country.
Recall that this year the funds for the creation of this center were collected by the whole country. The project is planned to be implemented in stages over several years.
Interestingly, the initiative to announce in Belarus was announced on March 31 after the President's Address to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly. A representative of the student brigade movement addressed the head of state with such a proposal. “We will study this proposal of yours. Moreover, you are not strangers to me, relatives,” Alexander Lukashenko said then. “As for the Brest patriotic center, I am aware of the matter. The proposal was made by the military . sources of funding. If the youth, the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, get involved in this, I will be very happy to announce this construction site for youth. Moreover, you did not let us down in Khatyn."
The tradition of youth construction projects in Belarus dates back several decades. It received a new impetus in 2005 thanks to the decision of the President to support the revival and development of student groups in the country. The reconstruction of a part of the Augustow Canal was then announced as a youth construction site. Subsequently, student teams participated in the construction and reconstruction of such iconic objects as the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater and the National Academic Theater named after Yanka Kupala, Nesvizh and Kossovsky castles, the Minsk-Arena sports complex, the capital's Student Village, the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War war on Pobediteley Avenue in Minsk, the third line of the Minsk metro. In 2014, the status of All-Belarusian youth construction was assigned to the construction sites of the Belarusian nuclear power plant, and from 2019 - to social infrastructure facilities in Astravets. In May 2022, the status of the All-Belarusian Youth Construction Site was assigned to major overhaul and reconstruction facilities.
BETTER IN WINTER. Which old acquaintance Lukashenka invited to visit BelarusBelarus and Brazil are separated by thousands of kilometers, and now sometimes the sanctions obstacles of the collective West. But for friends and interested partners, this is not an obstacle. In this spirit, on August 10, Alexander Lukashenko met with the Ambassador of Brazil to Belarus, Bernard Jorge Leopold de Garcia Klingle.
“If we evaluate the Belarusian-Brazilian relations, I must say that they can be much better. And politically. But first of all, in trade and economic. Because trade and economic relations are the basis, the basis of any relationship. in material terms, a strong interest and a definite connection, then both political and diplomatic relations are built. As an ambassador, you understand this as well as I do. We just need to agree with you as a result of today's meeting on specific areas of our cooperation that will bring our relations to a higher level ", - said the Belarusian leader.
Alexander Lukashenko said that he has a number of proposals in this regard. “I think that you will bring my proposals to the government, your parliament and, above all, President of Brazil Lula da Silva. And I beg you, as one of the main proposals today, to send a signal to your President that we are waiting for him in Belarus. convenient time for him. Better in winter. So that he can see our winter nature. And during his visit, we could finally determine the road map or plan for our relations. I emphasize once again: the Belarusian leadership is extremely interested in this," the President said .
He especially emphasized the importance of the current meeting both for Belarus and Brazil. Brazil is traditionally included in the top 10 trade partners of Belarus. In 2022, the trade turnover amounted to more than $358 million, with a positive balance for Belarus of almost $150 million. And in January-June of this year alone, the volume of bilateral trade has already amounted to $393.4 million. The main position of Belarusian exports is traditionally potash fertilizers.
Alexander Lukashenko and Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva have known each other for a long time. They met back in March 2010, when the President of Belarus was on a visit to Brazil. Lula da Silva then also held the post of head of state, and after a series of other leaders at the helm of the country was re-elected President.
Alexander Lukashenko and Luis Inacio Lula da Silva. , 2010“It was during your previous tenure that I made my first and so far only visit to your wonderful country. Together with you, we outlined the main priorities for the development of Belarusian-Brazilian relations,” the Belarusian leader said in congratulating his colleague on the occasion of victory in the elections. “I have the honor to resume You are invited to visit Belarus at a convenient time. We have something to talk about as old good friends, something to discuss, taking into account the changes that have taken place over the past twelve years"
On the importance of dialogue and the role of the President of BelarusThe world is interdependent, and no matter how far away Brazil is, the current events in Eastern Europe affect many interests of this country. And there, unlike some of the western and southern neighbors of Belarus, they understand what a positive role Alexander Lukashenko could and even is ready to play.
Alexander Lukashenko“We in Brazil really appreciate relations with Belarus, as well as the work that is being done in your country today. We understand the importance of the region and the delicacy of the situation that has developed in your region,” the diplomat said. “We also see the confrontation that is taking place today between Brazil is ready to take part in the dialogue, and we also see you as a person who not only understands the current situation very well, but also a person who can take part in this dialogue and contribute to resolving the situation."
Bernard Georges Leopold de Garcia Klingle emphasized that it was a great honor for him to extend an invitation to the President of his country to visit Belarus: “Of course, the President of Brazil, I am sure, will accept your invitation with great gratitude, because he knows how important it is to discuss with you the solution of the situation that has developed. We understand what is at stake. We have appointed a special envoy - a minister who, from Brazil, takes part in the dialogue."
He stressed: "We are confident that dialogue requires a common will, a common desire to find this dialogue, and therefore my hope is that my President and you will be able to take an active part in this process."
On cooperation despite sanctionsDuring the meeting, important aspects of bilateral cooperation, prospects for deepening cooperation despite the sanctions barriers were discussed. "Of course, today we live in a rather difficult time when heavy sanctions have been imposed. Nevertheless, much has been done and said in order to overcome them and deepen cooperation between our countries," the ambassador told reporters after the meeting.
In particular, they touched upon cooperation in the field of agriculture and the possibility of delivering Belarusian tractors to Brazil. Issues of resuming supplies of Belarusian potash fertilizers to Brazil were discussed. At one time, up to 20% of all potash fertilizers on the Brazilian market were Belarusian.
There are a number of other promising areas - from the supply of coconut raw materials for domestic confectionery to the purchase of Embraer aircraft for Belavia and cooperation in the field of education. Thus, a delegation from Brazil, headed by representatives of the scientific community, plans to visit Belarus to sign documents on cooperation with three Belarusian universities.
DO FOR PERSPECTIVE. How the Belarusian aviation industry is coping with sanctionsOn August 11, Alexander Lukashenko visited Minsk National Airport and the Minsk Civil Aviation Plant No. 407 located on its territory.
There are many development plans. As for the airport, this includes a new terminal, parking lots, and improved transport links with Minsk. The national airport has already overcome the bar of 5 million passengers a year, but then the pandemic struck, followed by sanctions. As a result, passenger traffic has declined, and some of the plans have so far remained on paper and in the form of mock-ups.
"Well, stopped because of the sanctions?" the President asked immediately upon arrival. The question is rather rhetorical, because the head of state himself is well informed that despite all the existing difficulties, both the airport and the National Airline "Belavia" manage to work steadily and even make plans for the future. There are no problems in providing materials and equipment, the necessary level of aviation security is being provided. For some items, production has been established at domestic enterprises, for some - deliveries from friendly countries, for example, CHINA .
Times are not the easiest, but Alexander Lukashenko not only orients everyone to forget the word "sanctions", but also to work for the future. “We are doing everything for the future. If today, due to the prevailing circumstances, something is not needed, then we must understand that it will be in demand tomorrow,” the President orients.
As already noted, the construction of a new passenger terminal was also discussed. It is necessary for the future due to the growth of passenger traffic. Of course, for the convenience of delivering a larger number of passengers to the airport, thoughtful solutions in the transport connection with the capital by rail will also be required in the future. At the same time, it is important to approach the matter rationally. "So that we do not build any duplicating, parallel paths, but use what we have," the President noted.
Alexander Lukashenko instructed to prepare an appropriate project for the reconstruction of the airport with the construction of a terminal and a railway line in order to consider it in detail: "Let's agree: when there is a finished project, we will consider it separately."
A separate instruction of the President concerns the old runway of the airport. The second one was built in 2019. For obvious reasons, now the traffic flow is not the same as in previous years, but Alexander Lukashenko demands not to forget about the front page. As the head of state was informed, current repairs are being carried out on it.
"Keep in mind that this strip must be in working order. Normal condition. A second one has been built. This one must not be abandoned. The strip must be in perfect condition. It must be done in any circumstances," the head of state instructed.
On the transfer of the plant and the rewarding of the "guilty"Alexander Lukashenko inspected the territory of the airport by bus and visited Minsk Civil Aviation Plant No. 407, where he got acquainted with the maintenance and repair of aircraft, the work of the enterprise.
The company was founded in 1953 and until 2018 was located in the capital on the territory of the former airport Minsk-1. Alexander Lukashenko recalled how the decision to move the production site was made. Everything was not as simple as it seems at first glance, the head of state noted. There were many proposals for the liquidation of the enterprise: they say, the plant is not needed, some kind of Soviet junk is being repaired here.
“I was convinced that this was not necessary. I kind of agreed, but I asked those people who made the proposal one question: what are we going to do with people? Not just with people who need to be occupied. Of course, five thousand people would be occupied, this is not a problem. These are highly qualified people, that is, you. Such people are very expensive. What will we do with them? Where will they go? There was no answer. Therefore, I decided to move that plant out of the Belarusian capital and place it here," - said Alexander Lukashenko.
The construction of a new production site was under special control of the President. "Many were punished for slowing down construction. But in the end we built this plant," the head of state said.
The company is engaged in the repair, maintenance, modernization of Soviet and Russian-made aircraft. To diversify production activities in 2020, a specialized unitary enterprise "407 Technics" was created. It serves western-made aircraft.
According to Vladimir Pekarsky, DIRECTOR General of the Minsk Civil Aviation Plant, today the production capacities of the enterprise are fully loaded. The share of exports in the volume of revenue for the first half of the year amounted to 98.8%.
A complex for washing and painting aircraft is being built on the territory of the plant. Construction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2024. After the complex reaches its full capacity, additional revenue for the plant will amount to more than Br13 million, exports - $4 million. courts.
The head of state visited the aircraft maintenance and repair hangar, where he got acquainted with the production sites located here. After that, Alexander Lukashenko met with the labor collectives of the plant and other organizations located on the territory of the Minsk National Airport.
“Thank you for mastering the new plant,” the President thanked the employees of the enterprise. “Before visiting the plant and your director’s report, I didn’t think that you would turn around like that. Just great. The main thing is that you found your niches. you did there, at the old plant, but also a lot of new things. You are engaged in import substitution. Therefore, I sincerely tell you: you are just great, and I am very grateful to you for this. We will move in this direction. Study all the "guilty" and present them to the state awards."
About a crazy thought and a new dreamThe President does not rule out the possibility of creating civil aircraft production in the country. They learned how to repair - why not aim at production as well.
“I wouldn’t even call it a plant: this should be treated as the beginning. This is the first step in this direction. We will do everything to support the areas of repair and maintenance, and maybe the creation, construction of our own aircraft. We will promote this "We have two such large sites: a military plant in Baranovichi and a civilian one here. If you master something from the military areas, I will only be grateful and support. If they do something there for you, for civilians, I also support this "But, having created the production of cars, I have such a crazy idea (if I manage to start it during my presidential life) - if we manage to turn around and produce our own aircraft, I will be happy. So, my new dream can come true," he said. Alexander Lukashenko.
“I have such a crazy idea to deepen the production of civil aircraft. We have mastered the repair and maintenance. There are practically no claims against you from the customers. We will move on,” the head of state added.
About western airlines and neighbors in the EUDespite all the negativity from the West, Alexander Lukashenko does not put an end to cooperation in this vector. “Even tomorrow (we are ready to accept Western airlines. - BELTA's note). We are not aggressive people. I emphasize once again: we are not going to fight with anyone. I tell you this all the time,” Alexander Lukashenko said answering one of the questions.
Alexander LukashenkoThe head of state recalled that even at the solemn meeting on the occasion of Independence Day, he instructed the government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to propose a plan of good neighborliness and peace to the western neighbors.
“Pay less attention to the pressure exerted by the frenzied West on our enterprises, including the airport, Belavia. We will find a way out of any situation and will not leave our enterprises in trouble,” the President assured. “When after Ryanair this frenzy began, I told the pilot of my plane: tell the guys that we will not leave them in trouble, and you tell me what needs to be done during the next flight. He reported to me before the plane, we made decisions. Therefore, we did not leave anyone in trouble let's leave it."
“The world is interdependent, and only madmen can break this dependence . They won’t succeed. We will break through. They don’t need competitors, so they put pressure on us. But this is a good assessment for us,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
The President emphasized that the EU countries are neighbors of Belarus, and relations with them should not be lost: "Now we live primarily at the expense of the East - we cooperate with RUSSIA, China. But we must not forget about the high-tech West. They are nearby, they are our neighbors - the European Union "And relations with them must not be lost. We are ready for this, but taking into account our own interests. Believe me, the time will come (now there is such turbulence, speaking in your language, the difficulties are great) - in 2024-2025, I am sure, there will be serious changes in the world as well."
"And you need to talk with the Poles. I instructed the prime minister to contact them. If they want, let's talk, improve relations. We are neighbors, but they don't choose neighbors, they are from God. But they have parliamentary elections on October 15 and, of course, they it is necessary now to escalate, escalate the situation in order to show that they properly armed and re-armed the country. Therefore, before October 15, they are unlikely to make any significant changes that are beneficial to them and us. They demand a lot from us and ask, but we We cannot agree to this, because it is contrary to our interests," the President stressed.
He added that Poland is not in itself aggravating the situation in the region - it is being pushed to do so by the United States. "The Americans have staked on Poland. But the Poles are not stupid people. These are our people, the Slavs. They understand everything perfectly. Let's be patient, we'll see. We are open for cooperation," the head of state said.
SPACE PLANS. When the first Belarusian will go into orbitTraditionally, during communication with employees of organizations, a variety of questions are raised. But who, if not aviators, should have asked about the expected flight of Belarusian Marina Vasilevskaya to the ISS. And she already has a decent flight time - before her career as an astronaut, she worked as a Belavia flight attendant.
The President recalled the history of the organization of the flight of the representative of Belarus to the ISS and the agreements reached with the leadership of Russia and Roscosmos: “I told the President of Russia that the Belarusians somehow sat too long on the ground. Everyone flies, including Africans, well done. But why Belarusians don't fly? He says: "Exactly." Then they began to negotiate with Roskosmos. This Russian corporation had one condition, which the Belarusian side later fulfilled - that a woman go into space."
“We plan that she will fly in the first quarter of next year, maybe in March. This is due to the accident at the ISS (postponing the flight to next year. - Note by BelTA), Alexander Lukashenko said. - Yes, our girl will fly The understudy has also been determined. We are preparing this, no circumstances can affect this."
PEOPLE'S CAR. What are the prospects for the domestic auto industryOne of the employees of the Minsk Civil Aviation Plant asked about the production of Geely cars in Belarus. It was about plans to produce up to 60 thousand cars. "We will release them," the head of state confirmed.
In the question of the employee of the enterprise, the advantages of these vehicles, which have proven themselves well in the domestic market, were noted. It justifiably becomes popular, you even have to stand in line for some time to buy it.
“Standing in line for months is already a big step forward. In my time, they stood in line for years, they couldn’t buy it. This is a big plus. But it’s bad that you have to stand in line. On the one hand. car. In the first months there were doubts. But I hoped that people would still buy this car. It is good, it is ours. And for all the shortcomings (I had to often connect to issues of repair and spare parts), we still keep it under control and we will promote this car," the President said.
“We have agreed with the Chinese on the licensed production of our cars. We have identified, in my opinion, two brands. Therefore, we will have our own Belarusian car. If we are already hooked on this, we will reach the production of our own absolutely, almost 100% Belarusian car. A quality car,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
COMPETITORS BURN UP. What Lukashenka responded to claims against Belarusian busesThe question to the President concerned plans to re-equip the passenger fleet in the country. Alexander Lukashenko drew attention to the fact that new units of public transport are constantly being purchased for the needs of cities and regions, this process is especially noticeable in the capital. And it will be continued - in the near future, about 150 buses and 50 trolleybuses will be replaced with new ones at the expense of budgetary funds. Moreover, domestic equipment is produced in Belarus.
The head of state also mentioned the situation with Belarusian buses in St. Petersburg . Recently, there have been reports of their fire. It is interesting that similar equipment is operated in Belarus and other regions of Russia, but no such problems are heard. So what is the reason for what is happening in St. Petersburg?
“Our buses are very popular. We do not have time to meet the needs,” the head of state noted. “Competitors are starting to strangle us, referring to the fact that there is a fire in the bus in St. Petersburg, or something else ... Now the state commission is working. figured out what the issue is. Terrible competition, but we will withstand it. These are good, high-quality buses."
Alexander Lukashenko“There are no fires in Belarus. So what is the question? There are questions,” the President noted. “We will fight for these markets through quality.”
“Soon, it seems to me, you will no longer use public transport,” the head of state remarked with humor. “We have an average of two cars per family in Minsk. And some have three or four.”
In this regard, Alexander Lukashenko noted the growing popularity of electric transport, both personal and public. The use of electricity for heating and maintenance of residential buildings is also being developed. The head of state believes that the second nuclear power plant will also be useful for Belarus in the future. The proposal to build it in the east of the country has already been voiced by the President, and this possibility is being studied.
SPORTS SHOWER. Why the International Olympic Movement could fall apartThe head of state was asked about the performance of Belarusian athletes at the II Games of the CIS countries and whether the fear of competition in international sports is one of the reasons for the sanctions against Belarusian sports and athletes. “They [in the West] are afraid of competition, they show their temper , they want to bend us, as always, they are fighting for world domination . We withstood, survived, and our guys perform in all sports and give good results," the head of state said.
The President stated that mostly young athletes compete at the Games, who still have to really prove themselves in the future.
Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the prevailing opinion that in the absence of international competitions, the level of athletes may fall. “Why will he fall? I said very simply: if you (Belarusian athletes. - Approx. BelTA) win against one country - Russia. If you win against Russia, we will be in chocolate, and we will pay you, we will support you and so "Further," the head of state said, "And the Russians are our main competitors today. And we have not reached them yet. They are in first place and they have two or three times more gold medals. Therefore, there are no problems for athletes. Go, practice and win."
And the President advised not to pay attention to the sanctions. And this applies not only to sports: “We should not pay attention to this. If only (the human head is like this) has loaded itself with these sanctions, then there is no need to work. will it make it easier for you?"
Alexander Lukashenko stressed that he sees no problems with the training of athletes. "Sooner or later they will have to return us to the international championship," he is sure.
The President also noted the initiative to hold the BRICS Games, which he also discussed with Russian President Vladimir Putin: "I supported him and praised him for initiating the BRICS competitions." The members of this association - Brazil, Russia , South Africa, China and India - are major world powers with a huge population.
"If only in the BRICS (competitions will be organized. - Approx. BelTA), we will immediately join these competitions. And many countries will join. And the Olympic movement that exists now (Bach leads) will fall apart. Because everyone is fighting for money - advertising "And the more viewers - one and a half billion in India and China - here's advertising for you, here's money for you. Therefore, they are also there (in the International Olympic Committee. - Approx. BelTA) are not fools. They understand that there are still several such steps and they will ruin this movement," the head of state stressed.
CHILD KIDNAPPERS. What the President advised Ukraine and the West to sort outAn employee of the Minsk National Airport, a native of Donbass, thanked Alexander Lukashenko on behalf of the residents of Donbass, and especially children, for their help and support.
Alexander Lukashenko stressed that the support and rehabilitation of children will continue.
"We planned, we plan and we will plan! And not only plan, but we will support the kids. You see: they come here for silence. It's wild for them to be in the country and not hear these breaks, not see these deaths, this hunger. And then, that Westerners are trying to excite the situation in the world at first according to Putin, now for me the situation in the world - almost to bring to criminal responsibility - is simply ridiculous, I absolutely do not worry about it. On the contrary, we understand that this is how it should be done. Children are not to blame for anything "And we agreed with Putin that we will finance these trips from the union budget. We have done this and will continue to do this, regardless of any reproaches," the President said.
And Alexander Lukashenko advised ill-wishers to deal with the real problem of exporting children from Ukraine to the West as donors: "They take children out of Ukraine. They dismember and take out organs. Let them deal with those."
The head of state noted that the Aleksey Talai Foundation is dealing with the issue of improving the HEALTH of children from Donbass in Belarus. "A heroic person. He mainly brings people with disabilities here. How can we not help them? Let's help people today - God sees it all. Somewhere he will help us. Therefore, we will support children," the head of state summed up.
DON'T SHUT, BUT SHOW. What is the essence of the experiment that could lead to a revolution in agricultureAt the end of the week, Alexander Lukashenko again devoted the topic to agriculture. If last time he inspected the western regions of the country, now the eastern regions were in sight. And in this case, in the field - in the truest sense of the word, although it was not without a traditional inspection from a helicopter.
The head of state visited the Start TS peasant farm in the Orsha district, where he looked at the technology of non-moldboard tillage using the example of one of the fields. The President designated this issue as a strategic one and instructed to study the experience in practice in order to draw final conclusions next year.
Alexander Lukashenko and Leonid ZayatsIf we briefly describe the essence of the process, then during traditional plowing with a plow, the upper layer of the earth turns over. This does not happen in non-moldboard processing. Instead of a plow, for example, flat cutters are used. The technology itself is not new and has long been known in the world. This technique is especially effective in conditions of insufficient moisture, on soils subject to wind erosion, and on sloping lands. Humus is also better preserved in the soil. And, perhaps, the most interesting thing for farmers is the huge savings on fuel and depreciation of equipment, because compared to the traditional approach, much fewer operations are required on the field.
But this requires a high labor culture, professionalism of the farmer and agronomist. In other words, the discipline that Alexander Lukashenko constantly talks about.
“We wouldn’t miss. The main thing is that we get a harvest. I think that the first year we need to try. Half sow this way, and half with ordinary plowing,” the President addressed the management of the farm. “We will try here. In good farms, there, where there is already experience, non-moldboard tillage and sowing on stubble is a good option. But it is necessary, especially in the north and east, to approach this carefully."
If this experience justifies itself, it will help to solve the personnel issue in agriculture. Fewer operations in the field means not only savings on fuel and equipment, but also fewer workers are required for the same volumes. "There will be no more people (on the farms. - BELTA's note). And there is no need. We need to leave them and pay well. Therefore, this is our strategy. We need to look around the region, where it will go," the President said.
On a strategic approach to everythingAlexander Lukashenko noted that he just comes to the place where you can study and learn something new, for the future. "This (non-moldboard tillage - BELTA) is one of the prospects. Please suggest new technologies - we'll come and see. Therefore, this is our perspective and strategy," he said.
Similarly, they are building a strategy in other areas in the development of agriculture. For example, in animal husbandry, where a decision was made to transfer the entire herd of cattle to modern complexes in the coming years. "You need to MILK in complexes, not on these wild farms. Not to mention the calves. This is a strategy in animal husbandry. The same for fattening. Poultry farming, pig farming - this is understandable. We have long understood that these are complexes. But these are strategic issues" - stressed Alexander Lukashenko.
Recently, the President visited a large complex for fattening and keeping cattle in the Grodno region. There is practically no loss of livestock in this organization, and it is to such places that the head of state directs the transfer of calves from lagging farms. “If calves appeared on the farm and they cannot save them, take them in the name of the revolution and give them to the complex. But he will pay. This is money for a poor farm and a way out. Therefore, there must be iron discipline. draconian methods," the head of state orients the leadership of regions and districts.
Alexander Lukashenko also gave a number of tactical instructions regarding the current harvesting campaign during his working trip. In terms of preparing for the harvest of corn, which this year has done a good job and makes it possible to make up for the shortfall in cereal grains. Among the current priorities is also the harvesting of grassy fodder, the release of fields after harvesting and sowing winter crops in optimal agrotechnical terms. The President also reminded about the transfer of harvesters, where it is necessary to help with cleaning: "We must definitely move north. If we need somewhere, we need to transfer them."
About iron disciplineAs already noted, the technology of non-moldboard tillage, demonstrated to the head of state, although more economical than traditional plowing, but the subsequent care of the field requires strict adherence to a number of requirements. And this is an occasion to recall the discipline in agriculture, and not only. After all, in the Brest or Grodno regions, even under adverse weather conditions, they can get high yields.
"The main thing is technology. There is nothing surprising in the Grodno region. They just do everything technologically. They are great. They sowed on time, provided care and harvesting on time. eastern regions. - Approx. BELTA) this did not happen. Yes, we moved them a little, but not everywhere," the Belarusian leader said.
Alexander Lukashenko stressed that we must move in this direction and start with personnel: “To take off, start with people. Iron discipline. Neither left nor right. Because if you get equipment, money, new complexes, but people will walk like it's been here for centuries, you won't get anywhere. Therefore, discipline! Explain to people. Nowhere will they hire him (an irresponsible and negligent worker. - Approx. BelTA). Enough! The fool is over!"
"This is not a dictatorship, not serfdom. We just need to endure now, gritting our teeth. If we endure, we will live," the head of state said.
“I often say: if you don’t want to fight, let’s work on the field. For we will come to this war. In Ukraine, everything began with this before my eyes. Therefore, we must move, move, move,” the head of state said.
About the formula for support in agricultureThe money invested in the development of agriculture should give a return, and the state is ready to support and help those who work effectively. It was about further developing the raw material base in the region. The president is ready to make the necessary additional decisions in this regard, but it is important to build a development perspective - own processing, sales of products, a chain of stores. “We will provide you with a raw materials zone. So that you can process your own and get money from it. You need to create your own shops here. Russia is right next to it,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
And this approach is not only in the development of a particular economy, but also in the country as a whole. To lend, help with technologies, organize the process - please, fuel, fertilizers - buy as much as you want, everything is available. “God forbid, we are helping the village. Grants, loans, and advance payments. No other country helps like that. But there must be a return,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
The main thing is not even to produce volumes of products, as it was before, much more important - it is profitable to sell it all. "We will help strategically," Alexander Lukashenko promised.
The head of state also draws attention to another important aspect - it is desirable to produce an exclusive product: "Just turn milk into butter and dry it, whey or something else - we have already passed it. It must be done somewhere, but we have passed. You must in this small enterprise to create something that people will stand in line for it. And there are plenty of empty niches. You just have to move."
“Therefore, if we see results in you, we will come to you and help you. Financially, technically, and everything else. To those who give back, why not help. This is the only formula,” summed up Alexander Lukashenko.
