As noted by Pavel Fominov,
DIRECTOR of Mayak Vysokoe OJSC, the agricultural enterprise in the Orsha region specializes in raising
cattle on an industrial basis, producing
MILK, grains and legumes and rapeseed oilseeds. The total area of the agricultural enterprise is 10. .6 thousand hectares, of which more than 8.7 thousand hectares are agricultural lands, including a little more than 6.1 thousand hectares - arable land.
In the last three years, there have been positive dynamics in
cattle breeding , milk production, and weight gain is increasing. and milk yield. And this means that
revenue is also growing , and along with it, wages. The director is sure that expanding the area and introducing modern technologies is a necessity for an agricultural enterprise, without which further growth is not possible. So, in 2021-2022, self-employed projects were implemented here for the construction of sheds for seasonal housing of cattle on dairy farms in the village of Babino and in the village of Obukhovo.
The new MTF will be another impetus for the further development of the agro-industrial complex enterprise in the Orsha region. Comfortable conditions for livestock, improved working conditions for employees - experts promise that everything will be comfortable on the new dairy farm.
The cost of the project was Br29 million. However, as the director of the agricultural enterprise said, they are actively working to reduce construction costs. Roman Golovchenko emphasized that the cost of the object is high.
In addition, the Prime Minister was interested in the readiness of agricultural enterprises in the Orsha region and Vitebsk region for field work. He pointed out that there are shortcomings in matters of equipment readiness that need to be eliminated. It is also necessary to pay attention to the work of individual agricultural organizations - there should be no omissions here.
