Igor Brylo

March 2, Minsk. Food exports are being reoriented to other markets, transit issues are being resolved. Minister of Agriculture and Food Igor Brylo told journalists about this today before a meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers, BelTA has learned.

"Of course, the situation is not easy. Although Europe consumed a little from us, it was more than $300 million. Deliveries to Ukraine amounted to about $240 million. We hold daily video conferences with our meat and milk processing enterprises. We have already practically reoriented our dairy and meat flows from Ukraine to Russia," Igor Brylo said.

He noted that there is also the problem of transit through Ukraine, in particular through the port of Odessa. "Our products went this way to third countries, in particular to China . Literally today or tomorrow, the issue of transit through the Russian Federation by rail to China should be resolved. We are working on this issue," the minister said.
