According to the regional department of veterinary medicine, a depopulation of livestock has begun at Romanovskaya Poultry Farm LLC. An incinerator for burning chicken carcasses has been installed on the production area. Veterinary checkpoints are on duty around the clock at the entrance. Vehicle traffic is limited in the epizootic focus.

By decree of the Governor of the Yaroslavl Region Mikhail Evraev, quarantine for highly pathogenic avian influenza has been introduced in the region , presumably until August 21. The regional center, Yaroslavl, Tutaevsky, Bolsheselsky, and partially Rybinsk and Danilovsky districts fall into the high-risk zone with a radius of 10 kilometers. The prosecutor's office organized an inspection of compliance with the requirements of veterinary legislation at the enterprise, where several thousand birds died from an infectious disease.
