The industrial pig breeding portal reports an outbreak of African swine fever in the Selivanovskiy district of the Vladimir region. A decree on the introduction of quarantine until July 13 has been published on the regional portal of legal information.

The epizootic focus arose on the farm of the individual entrepreneur Evgeny Gorshkov, located in the village of Bolshoye Ugryumovo.

The territory within a radius of five kilometers has been declared the first threatened zone, from which it is forbidden to EXPORT pigs and slaughter products (except for industrial products). There are bans on hunting, agricultural fairs and fodder for farm animals. In the second threatened zone with a radius of 15 kilometers, the MEAT trade, the purchase and walking of pigs are suspended.

The outbreak of ASF in the Selivanovskiy district became the fifth of those registered in the Vladimir region since the beginning of 2021. Previously, foci appeared in Vladimir, Kameshkovsky, Petushinsky and Murom regions.
