The introduction of AI in agricultural enterprises increases the number of products by 5%

Experts from ANO Tsifrovaya ekonomika analyzed the spread of modern technologies in the domestic agro-industrial complex. The results of the study showed that the effectiveness of AI implementation depends on the type of enterprise - for example, livestock enterprises increase production by 3%, crop production grows by 4%, and the amount of harvested products by 5%.

After studying about 80 digital solutions that are being implemented in various sectors of agriculture, analysts have found that AI vehicles are popular in RUSSIA - for example, self-propelled agricultural machinery with AI, AI in agricultural drones, AI that controls the environment in which crops grow, AI in precision farming. Some solutions are less in demand in Russia, for example, smart agri-fintech solutions, as well as biotechnologies with AI.

Speaking about the development of digitalization in agriculture, experts noted that it is necessary to develop our own AI developments to replace foreign players who have left the market. However, such developments can take years and require large investments, so the state should be the customer, analysts say.
