In the Ulyanovsk region, 33 Internet sites were identified that sell drugs for veterinary use with violations

Based on the results of control and surveillance activities, 33 Internet sites were identified that sell medicinal products for veterinary use in violation of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of circulation of medicinal products.

Thus, on 31 Internet sites, veterinary drugs prohibited for circulation in Russia were sold, including counterfeit drugs labeled in a foreign language. For example, in April, violations were detected in the work of Vetagrosnab LLC, OZON, the Four Paws pet store, and Pharmacy-Medimir.

2 online stores sold veterinary drugs in the absence of a license for pharmaceutical activities - this is the online store “Zhivoglot”, as well as the Internet page “ZooMarvel” (IP Lysenko Yu.V.) on the Wildberries marketplace.

In order to block the listed Internet resources, specialists from the Rosselkhoznadzor Office sent information to Roskomnadzor . To date, thanks to joint work, 7 Internet pages with illegal information have been blocked.

The Department reminds that the use of drugs sold in violation of legal requirements may contribute to the occurrence of serious and unexpected adverse reactions in animals, and also reduce the effectiveness of treatment and preventive measures.
