“The Damate group of companies launched a block of the parent flock of a turkey breeding breeder in the Tyumen region and has already received the first egg . Thus, the company has launched all poultry farming facilities of the largest second-order turkey breeder in RUSSIA,” the company noted, clarifying that the block is designed for one-time maintenance of 64.5 thousand poultry heads.
The total investment in the creation of the loudspeaker amounted to 6.1 billion rubles, and Rosselkhozbank acted as the financial partner. “The formation of a parent flock is an important stage in turkey production. Our own production of hatching eggs will allow Damate to reduce dependence on the import of turkey genetic material, reduce biological risks and increase egg quality indicators,” the company noted.
"Damate" has begun assembling turkey parent flocks. “Two poultry farming sites have already been populated, the first hatching egg has been received and its deliveries have begun to the Damate complex for turkey production in the Penza region,” the press service noted, adding that reaching the design capacity of 12 million eggs per year is planned for end of 2024.
Governor of the Tyumen region Alexander Moor clarified that thanks to the implementation of the project, 119 new jobs have been created for residents of the Isetsky district, and in the future there will be about 200. “If earlier poultry farmers brought eggs from abroad, and in our country they raised only poultry, now all stages have been localized. Savings amount to millions of euros,” the HEAD of the region wrote in his TELEGRAM channel.
The group of companies launched a second-order breeding reproducer in 2022. A reproducer is an enterprise with a parent flock of turkeys numbering 138 thousand heads to obtain eggs from highly productive crosses. The project provides for the phased launch of 10 poultry breeding sites: five for replacement young animals and five for parent flocks, a feed mill with a capacity of 10 tons per hour and an elevator with a capacity of 20 thousand tons of storage.
