In St. Petersburg, the head of the Kolpino-Pushkin veterinary station was charged with taking bribes.

According to the IC in the city, from March 2020 to February of the current defendant received a total of almost half a million rubles, the investigation believes. The money was given to him by representatives of firms engaged in the supply of meat products.

According to law enforcement officers, for illegal remuneration, the head of the station provided general patronage, performed actions in favor of bribe-givers and turned a blind eye to their violations.
