In the Omsk region canceled the annual quarantine for animal leukemia

Last year, restrictions were imposed on the territory of the villages of Despodzinovka, Verblyuzhye, Ivanovka and the village of Sargatskoye due to leukemia in cows and bulls. This is a chronic infectious disease that affects the circulatory system and hematopoietic organs and provokes tumors. During the quarantine, it was forbidden to sell and EXPORT cattle so as not to spread the infection to other settlements.

Earlier, on the territory of the Maryanovsky district of the Omsk region, quarantine was introduced due to rabies until April 9, 2023. The corresponding decree was signed by Governor Alexander Burkov. The source of infection was found in the village of Berezovka.
