53 heads of cattle and over 2 tons of lamb without documents were not allowed into the Amur Region

The import of 53 heads of cattle and more than 2 tons of uncertified meat was not allowed into the Amur Region. The products were sent back, the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor reported today.

The violators tried to smuggle 2.3 tons of mutton from the Trans-Baikal Territory, as well as 42 heads of cattle and 11 small ones. Products without documents were stopped at a veterinary post in the Skovorodinsky district, they wanted to distribute it throughout the territory of the Amur Region and the Khabarovsk Territory.

The carriers were brought to administrative responsibility and fined, one of them increased, in connection with a repeated offense.
