Rosselkhoznadzor, together with the Central Operational Customs, revealed the import of German pork fat into Russia under the false transit scheme

As a result of operational actions of the departments, it was established that the carrier of pork fat, according to documents produced in Germany, was transporting products to a cold storage facility in the city of Odintsovo, Moscow Region.

Products prohibited from being imported into the territory of RUSSIA were confiscated and destroyed as part of retaliatory economic measures. In order to prevent similar violations, the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR limits the possibility of transit through the territory of Russia to INEXOS LLC.

Illegal importation of pig products from the European Union to Russia, which is prohibited for circulation in the country, creates a serious threat of introducing ASF, which has spread widely in Germany, Poland and other European countries.
