Rosselkhoznadzor has identified cases of raw material substitution in meat production in the Novgorod Region

it was established that on May 9 of this year, 150 kg of minced MEAT for the product "minced meat for Munich semi-finished sausages" (finished poultry product ) were produced at the production site of Vek LLC. At the same time, not only poultry meat , but also frozen pork meat was used as raw material. Also, 150 kg of minced meat for the product "minced meat for Alpine semi-finished sausages" (finished poultry product) were produced at the company's production site. However, according to the system data, pork fat, pork and beef served as raw materials for the production of chicken sausages. Information about the chicken used for the production of the products was not entered into the FGIS "Mercury", which indicates a lack of traceability in the production of finished meat products.

The revealed facts are a violation of the Procedure for the preparation of veterinary accompanying documents in electronic form, approved by the order of the Ministry of Agriculture of RUSSIA and the Federal Law "On the quality and safety of food products".

On May 21, the Office of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR issued a warning to the legal entity indicating the need to take measures to ensure compliance with mandatory legal requirements.
