Меры Россельхознадзора приняты в отношении восьми компаний в связи с выявлением несоответствий в гибридной продукции

The Service introduced temporary restrictions regarding Rusmoloko LLC ( Stavropol Territory ). The company re-supplied butter adulterated with fats of non-dairy origin to the wholesale and retail base and to the store of one of the retail chains in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. This violation was also recorded in the product shipped by the enterprise to the state budgetary healthcare institution of the Republic of Crimea “Republican Specialized Children's Home for Children with Damage to the Central NERVOUS SYSTEM and Mental Disorders.” In addition, the butter sent to the specified socially significant institution contained benzoic acid in the amount of 389.8 mg/kg and sorbic acid in the amount of 347.4 mg/kg. According to regulations, the presence of non-dairy fats and food additives in products is not allowed.

Sorbic and benzoic acids are food preservative additives. According to some reports, exceeding their permissible levels can cause the breakdown of vitamin B12 in the body and provoke an attack in allergy sufferers and asthmatics.

The Service also introduced a regime of enhanced laboratory control in relation to:

The Republic of Mordovia

— JSC “Chamzinskaya Poultry Farm”. The company supplied poultry MEAT to one meat processing enterprise in the Saratov region , in a sample of which the content of the antibiotic ofloxacin was 1781 mcg/kg, which is 17 times more than the norm. According to regulations, meat products may contain no more than 100 mcg/kg of the specified drug.

Ofloxacin  is an antibacterial drug. The drug may cause decreased immunity and allergic reactions. Repeated use of products containing antibiotics may lead to the development of antimicrobial resistance, which can lead to difficult-to-treat infectious diseases in people.

Belgorod region

— Belgrankorm LLC. Samples from broiler chicken by-products were taken at two production facilities located in the urban village of Rakitnoye, Belgorod region, where chloramphenicol was found in the products in the amount of 0.81 mcg/kg and 0.58 mcg/kg, the content of which is not allowed in products according to the standard . Levomycetin, like ofloxacin , is an antibacterial drug.

Krasnoyarsk region

— Filimonovsky MILK Canning Plant LLC. This enterprise shipped condensed milk , which was adulterated with fats of non-dairy origin, to the municipal autonomous educational institution “Lyceum No. 11” in the city of Krasnoyarsk. According to regulations, the presence of these fats in products is not allowed.

Kabardino-Balkarian Republic

— Nalchik Dairy Plant LLC. At the enterprise, samples of cottage cheese were taken, which showed the presence of ofloxacin in the products in an amount of 5 mcg/kg, while according to the standards, the use of this drug in dairy products is prohibited.

In addition, ROSSELKHOZNADZOR issued warnings:

Rostov region

— LLC “Myasnikovsky Dairy Plant”. The company shipped to the store of one of the retail chains located in the city of the Volgograd region, cottage cheese . Samples confirmed the presence of microbial transglutaminase in the products. According to regulations, the content of this enzyme is not allowed in products, since it is not on the list of enzyme preparations approved for use in food production.

Microbial transglutaminase (mTG) modifies protein structure. The use of mTG is prohibited in RUSSIA, since this enzyme is not included in the list of safe food additives included in the technical regulations of the Customs Union.

Chelyabinsk region

— IP Kupriyanova E.V. Microbial transglutaminase was detected in samples of boiled sausage taken at production.

— IP Smirnov V.V. Samples from poultry sausages were taken at the production site and showed the presence of microbial transglutaminase and undeclared pig DNA in the product, which actually indicates the substitution of raw materials.

Rosselkhoznadzor also reports other detected inconsistencies in the livestock products of two Russian companies.

In the butter of Ozeretsk Dairy Plant JSC (Moscow Region), samples from which were taken in the catering department of the preschool group of the municipal government educational institution Ikhal Secondary School (Republic of Karelia), signs of adulteration with fats of non-dairy origin were revealed. According to regulations, the presence of these fats in products is not allowed.

A study of five samples of broiler chicken by-products from Tokarevskaya Poultry Farm OJSC (Tambov region) confirmed the content of dinitrocarbanilide in an amount of 5.9 to 8.1 μg/kg. According to regulations, the presence of this product in goods is unacceptable.

Dinitrocarbanilide is a coccidiostat intended for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis. Regular use of products containing coccidiostatic drugs leads to dysbacteriosis, allergic reactions and decreased immunity.

The same enterprise shipped minced chicken to the raw material warehouse of Saratov MPK Resurs LLC. Samples taken by Rosselkhoznadzor showed the presence  of salmonella in the product .

Bacteria of the genus Salmonella cause an acute infectious disease in humans - salmonellosis, accompanied by high fever (up to 41˚C), diarrhea, and severe intoxication. Salmonella can not only persist in food products for a long time, but also multiply intensively if storage conditions and periods are violated.
