Roskachestvo tested semi-finished grilled meat products.

Of the 19 brands of products, Auchan kupaty meet both mandatory and advanced requirements and are eligible for the Russian Quality Mark.

No traces of these substances were found in the semi-finished products tested.E. coli  bacteria

. No excess levels of mold, mesophilic aerobic, or facultative anaerobic microorganisms were detected. However, dangerous bacteria causing listeriosis were found in Myasnitsky Ryad brand kupaty. Excessive levels of sulfanilamide, an antimicrobial drug, were detected in Ostankino products. Traces of florfenicol were found in kupaty from one brand. Although trace amounts of antibiotics are not considered a violation, such products cannot qualify for the Quality Seal.

Bone inclusions and microbial transglutaminase were not detected in the samples. There were no discrepancies in the acid value of the fat, but deviations in the peroxide value of the fat were detected in six brands.

Furthermore, unspecified offal was found in the "Blizhnie Gorki" kupaty, and the net weight of the "Osobaya Kollektsiya" (Special Collection) sausages was lower than stated (701.3 g instead of 720 g). Undeclared

carrageenan was detected in products from six brands (Blizhnie Gorki, Ostankino, Slovo Myasnika, Auchan, Myasnitsky Ryad, and Restoria). Furthermore, five brands exceeded the permissible vegetable fiber content (over 2.5%).

Roskachestvo notified the manufacturers and retailers of the inspection results. Measures have already been taken at the production facilities to correct the violations.
