Poultry farm "Komsomolskaya" released the first batch of eggs after quarantine

The representative of the agency was told about the elimination of the epizootic focus of highly pathogenic influenza A (H5N8) in Komsomolsk-on-Amur at the regional department of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR . The activities continued for four months. First, the depopulation of the livestock was carried out, the disposal of dead and killed birds, down feathers and all types of products of the enterprise (522 thousand heads of chickens, 10 tons of MEAT and 1.25 million eggs). At the next stage, the anti-epizootic detachment cleaned and disinfected all the buildings where the chickens were kept, other production facilities and the territory of the poultry farm, and thermally disinfected the feed. The quarantine was lifted on March 6th. The damage exceeded 200 million rubles.

In March and April, Komsomolskaya Poultry Farm JSC purchased about 137,000 chickens and a supply of feed sufficient to keep them from Khabarovsk Breeding Plant JSC. Today, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Khabarovsk Territory, Pavel Storozhuk, wrote on his TELEGRAM channel that the first batches of table eggs released by the enterprise after the quarantine appeared in the shops of Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Deliveries to other settlements will begin in July, and by the end of this year the poultry farm will reach its full capacity - 135 million eggs per year.
