On a robotic farm in the Kurgan region, “fitness bracelets” monitor the health of cows

Deputies of the Kurgan Regional Duma visited the village of Novopetropavlovskoye, Dalmatovsky District. Visitors to the farm "Barabinskoye" saw a robotic farm and discussed the development of dairy farming.

Every cow on the farm has "fitness bracelets". They help to track the condition of animals. Gadgets read physiological data, show the activity and quality of MILK. A tour of the first robotic farm in the Kurgan region is conducted by the HEAD of the peasant economy and deputy of the regional parliament Fyodor Yaroslavtsev.

- If something is wrong with the cow's HEALTH, the robot will see it. On the computer, the number of the animal will be highlighted in a different color,” Fedor Yaroslavtsev, deputy of the Kurgan Regional Duma, explains the principle of the system.

Milking is also automatic. A cow can approach the apparatus at any time of the day - as soon as it accumulates milk . The machine measures the body temperature, washes the udder, massages it and attaches the milking cluster.

Construction of new workshops began in 2019. We handed over the automated buildings last fall. Purchased 150 dairy heifers. 110 million rubles were spent on the construction and purchase of equipment. 30 million were reimbursed from the regional budget. There are plans to continue equipping the farm with robots.

We are building the foundation this year. In the next one, we are building two more such buildings,” adds Yaroslavtsev. - But subject to the preservation of the co-financing program. I hope that the purchase of equipment will be subsidized.

Agrarian deputies highly appreciated the robotic farm. The region needs to create as many innovative facilities as possible. This will increase the productivity of dairy farming.

- If a cow is milked at any time of the day, it turns out three or four times milking. Naturally, the milk yield is increasing,” says Alexander Bryukhanov, chairman of the Kurgan Regional Duma Committee on Agrarian Policy and Natural Resources. - The main thing here is the control of both the amount of milk and the health of the cows. All this is reflected. And experts are engaged in practical work.

Parliamentarians, and among them there are many leaders of peasant farms, are considering the creation of such farms. The main thing, they say, is that there is support from the state and demand.

- This project was interesting to us, - the deputy Valery Suslyakov admits. - We have tethered content. I think that both can develop in parallel.

The parliamentarians also visited the granary, looked at the house of culture under construction in the village of Novopetropavlovskoye and the new houses under the federal program "Integrated Development of Rural Territories".

After the practical part, the deputies listened to information about innovative technologies in dairy farming in the Kurgan region, got acquainted with the implementation of the law "On certain measures to ensure the quality and safety of food products." We also discussed the possibility of federal support in this area.

“We understand that in order to feed the country, people, we need to rely on large producers who are engaged in dairy production,” emphasizes Alexander Bryukhanov. - In order to develop dairy farming in our zone, we need to radically change approaches.

The parliamentarians emphasize that visiting meetings of the committee are a good opportunity to get acquainted with enterprises and discuss issues of concern to all farmers.
