More than 120 tons of products and raw materials of animal origin were detained on the Omsk section of the Russian-Kazakh border

Thus, on September 8, specialists from the Office of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Omsk Region at the Isilkulsky PPU, while attempting to EXPORT them from Omsk to the Republic of Kazakhstan , detained a batch of sausages weighing 2 tons.

The carrier, a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, provided only shipping documents for the cargo; the veterinary certificate of the Customs Union, necessary for the movement of products under the control of state veterinary supervision across the border, was missing.

As a result, department officials decided to prevent the export of products to the Republic of Kazakhstan and return them to the territory of the Omsk region.
The offender was brought to administrative responsibility in accordance with Part 1 of Art. 10.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violation of animal quarantine rules or other veterinary and sanitary rules.”

In total, during the current period of 2023, specialists of the regional Rosselkhoznadzor, when moving goods across the state border, identified 126 facts of violation of veterinary legislation, detained more than 121 tons of products and raw materials of animal origin, 2320 pieces. eggs for food and hatching, 62 heads of farm animals (horses, goats), 1469 pieces of bee packages, 272 heads of farm and ornamental poultry (day-old chicks, pigeons, chickens, ducklings).

Based on the results of the control, more than 38 tons of products and raw materials and 600 pcs. were not allowed for import and returned to the Republic of Kazakhstan. bee packages, and more than 5 tons of products were recognized as low-quality, dangerous and destroyed in accordance with the established procedure.
