In terms of content,
according to the organizers, Anuga will demonstrate how the global meat and sausage industry is undergoing a period of transition: consumers increasingly demand high-quality, premium products with transparency regarding origin and animal welfare, which at a minimum meet Farming Form 3 standards. Clean-label products with fewer additives, natural ingredients, and clear nutritional information are becoming increasingly popular.
At the same time, the market for ready-to-eat products, such as semi-finished and ready-to-eat meals, is growing, with international flavors and new flavor combinations providing greater variety. The alternative protein segment is also experiencing global growth, with hybrid products complementing traditional meat products.
Despite this innovative approach, price sensitivity remains a decisive factor: consumers are increasingly paying attention to the balance between quality, sustainability and cost.
