Dairy production AGROECO in the black

According to the results of last year, the average daily MILK yield per cow in the AGROECO dairy farm increased to 28.9 kg, against 28.3 kg a year earlier. Gross milk yield amounted to 5.8 thousand tons, which is 15% more than in 2021.

The company plans to develop the dairy business and increase production performance. In 2023, the holding expects to increase milk production to 6.2 thousand tons.

“We annually improve production indicators in our dairy business. And the result obtained is not the limit, - says Evgeny Naydenov, Production DIRECTOR of AGROECO. – We see that there are reserves in the dairy industry. Therefore, in 2023 we continue to work on efficiency. The goal is to improve results, grow and exceed the plan while maintaining the quality of the final product.”

The dairy sector of AGROECO is represented by a dairy farm (MFF), located in the village of Nizhniy Mamon, Verkhnemamonsky district. After the acquisition by the holding of the operating farm in 2018, the production was modernized and the buildings were reconstructed, modern equipment was installed, and the livestock was completely updated. The capacity of the farm involves the maintenance of 720 forage cows. Currently, the MTF contains about 690 forage cows, production yields 19 tons of milk per day. In 2023, the MTF received the status of a breeding reproducer for breeding Holstein cattle . The company intends to continue work on improving the breeding and productive qualities of animals.
