One of the largest poultry farms in Mordovia has gained access to the Chinese market

In the very near future, the company plans to export such a popular chicken delicacy as chicken feet to China .

Chicken feet are called “Phoenix feet” in China. Here it is a traditional snack, a delicacy. Paws are fried, pickled, stewed, boiled - there are many recipes. China is the largest buyer of chicken feet in the world.

It should be noted that not every chicken foot is to the liking of the Chinese. They have particularly strict requirements for them . Thus, according to Chinese requirements , the percentage of scrap chicken feet should be no more than 5%; chicken feet with bruises and hemorrhages, black growths and yellow skin are not allowed to be imported into the country.

Despite such strict requirements, this market remains very attractive, since its needs are very, very large. For example, an average poultry farm in Russia produces 80-100 tons of paws per month, and a small snack factory in China consumes 25 tons per month, an average factory - already 80 tons. That is, the production of paws from one Russian poultry farm can satisfy the needs of one medium-sized plant in China.
