The number of cattle in Tatarstan decreased by 4.7%

According to Tatarstanstat, the total number of cattle is 863.2 thousand heads, which is a decrease of 4.7% with a seasonal decrease of 0.3%. The number of cows is 316.4 thousand heads, with an annual decrease of 2.1%, but the monthly number increased by 0.1%. In some agricultural organizations at the end of September, 504.5 thousand heads of cattle were registered , which is also 4.1% less than a year earlier.

The number of cows in these organizations decreased to 184.3 thousand, which is 1.0% less than last year.
