
In 2020, about 1.5 billion rubles of capital investments were attracted to the MEAT processing industry of the region
The meat processing industry of the region demonstrates good dynamics. The volume of production in 2020 amounted to:
pork, lamb, goat meat and horse meat - 11.1 thousand tons (an increase of 113.3%); meat, meat-containing, chilled and frozen semi-finished products - about 259.5 thousand tons (107.1%); poultry meat - 370.1 thousand tons (101.6%).
At the expense of own and borrowed funds, in 2020, about 1.5 billion rubles of capital investments were attracted to the meat processing industry to increase production volumes and improve its quality.
Currently, 95 organizations sell meat and meat products in the region, including 13 large and medium ones. The product range includes more than 200 types of sausages and deli meats, the regional committee for food and processing industry, trade and licensing reported.
