The businessman wants to expand the Perm pig farm and raise cattle there

Businessman Artem Boldyrev has become a new investor in a bankrupt pig farm in the village of Maysky, Perm Territory, Kommersant-Prikamye reports. The entrepreneur wants to increase production and expand the complex, raising more cattle there. For these purposes, about 2 billion rubles will be needed.

Artem Boldyrev did not say the exact terms of work and how many animals will be at the enterprise: “At this stage, it is too early to discuss this.”

Recall that Agro-Alliance JSC bought the herd of the Perm pig farm in April. The organization is headed by Alexei Borodin, who previously, together with Artem Boldyrev, was a co-owner of the Perm packaging manufacturer Interpak.

The production complex itself belongs to JSC Perm Pig Complex, the only founder of which is the regional Ministry of Agro-Industry. In April, the company was declared insolvent and participated in bankruptcy proceedings. Then his debt to creditors was 892.9 million rubles.
