February 21, Minsk. A resident of the capital hit a pensioner in a mobile phone shop for no reason, BelTA was told at the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

Law enforcement officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Zavodskoy District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk detained a 52-year-old resident of the capital, who hit a pensioner in a mobile phone shop. The investigation established that the defendant came to the salon to ask a question about the tariff plan. The answer of the employee did not satisfy him, and the man reacted aggressively. As he was leaving the store, he ran into an 85-year-old pensioner at the door. The detainee struck an elderly man for no reason, causing him to fall.

Law enforcement officers established that at the time of the crime, the Minsk resident was in a state of alcoholic intoxication .

Investigators opened a criminal case for hooliganism.
