
December 6, Mogilev. The body of a man was discovered in the Mogilev region , and experts established the cause of his death. BELTA was informed about this by Irina Rachkovskaya, official representative of the State Committee for Electrical Energy for the Mogilev Region.
The body of a 77-year-old man was found on the territory of a gardening partnership. As established by the results of forensic medical examinations, death was caused by hypothermia. At the time of his death the man was in a state ofALCOHOL intoxication .As experts noted, death from hypothermia occurs when the body temperature is below 23 degrees from the initial cessation of breathing, which usually takes an average of up to 5 hours. If a person is in cold water or in a strong wind in wet clothes in a weakened or drunken state, he can die even faster - within one hour.
This year, more than 40 deaths from hypothermia have been recorded in the Mogilev region, the last three cases were recorded at the end of October and November.
