May 8, MINSK . The drunk driver of a foreign car was detained by employees of the State traffic inspectorate in Minsk. This was reported to a BelTA correspondent by the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The Audi driver was stopped by traffic police inspectors of the traffic police department of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs of the capital when he was driving along Kizhevatova Street. Employees suspected that the 33-year-old man was in a state ofALCOHOL intoxication .

The results of the medical examination showed that the Minsker had 0.95 ppm of alcohol in his body.

Driving while intoxicated is punishable by a fine of up to 200 basic units and deprivation of the right to drive a car for up to 5 years. If a person is caught driving while intoxicated again, then he faces criminal liability and confiscation of the car.
