A man drowned in a pond in the Borisov region

June 4, Minsk . In the Borisov region, a man drowned in a place prohibited for swimming. BELTA was informed about this by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.

The accident occurred on the afternoon of June 2 in the village of Nemanica. Before the tragedy, the deceased and his friends were drinking alcohol in the courtyard of the house . Then the company went to a pond located nearby, where a 37-year-old Borisov resident decided to swim. The prohibitory signs did not stop him.

Rescuers found the body of the deceased and removed him from the water. An inspection is underway. “Swim only in specially equipped places, do not go into the water while intoxicated,” the police reminded.
