In the village of Vyakhirevo, Shatura city district, a new fish farm for the reproduction of trout has been launched.
“For the development of agricultural producers near Moscow, state support is provided. The new enterprise received an Agrostartup grant in the amount of 3 million rubles from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region. These funds were used to purchase swimming pools and special equipment of domestic production. At the first stage, the enterprise will produce more than 6 tons per year,” said Georgy Filimonov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region, who is in charge of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
The first batch of trout fry weighing 500 grams was received from Tula. In the future, the KFH plans to purchase fry from producers near Moscow.
The grown individuals will be sold by the enterprise in the region, as well as delivered to restaurants in the Moscow region.
More than 25 enterprises are engaged in fish production in the Moscow region. Last year, within the framework of the state program "Agriculture of the Moscow Region", more than 24 million rubles of subsidies were provided for the development of this area, in 2023 almost 25 million rubles were also allocated under this program.
