
The Interregional Agro-Industrial Conference (IAC 2023), dedicated to the development of the agro-industrial sector of the Urals, was held in Chelyabinsk on February 8-9.
The event was held for the third time, but has already become the leading event in the agro-industrial sector. MAC-2023 was held with the support of the Government of the Chelyabinsk Region and the regional Ministry of Agriculture. This year the number of speakers and participants of the conference has become the largest in its history.
More than 1000 visitors, 137 reports, 113 experts, 36 partners and presentation zones, 10 round tables and professional meetings, as well as hundreds of new acquaintances and professional agreements - these are the results of the conference.
Among the participants are the leaders of the agro-industrial complex, industry experts, representatives of the scientific community and representatives of the authorities. From the Ural State Agrarian University, the conference was attended by: Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Ph.D. M.Yu. Karpukhin; professor, d.b.s. V.S. Mymrin; head of the educational and experimental facilities of the university and his deputy A.V. Vershinin and A.V. Gladkov.
Vladimir Sergeevich Mymrin moderated the round table "Livestock-2023: Challenges and Forecasts", and Mikhail Yuryevich Karpukhin at the round table "Greening in the Agro-Industrial Complex" made a report "Agrotechnological foundations for increasing the sequestration potential of agricultural landscapes", and within the framework of the round table "Vegetable and Potato Growing - 2023: Challenges and Forecasts" made a report on the topic "Status and Prospects for the Development of Vegetable Growing in the Urals". He spoke about the achievements of Ural scientists in breeding, seed production and new methods for improving natural geoecosystems and growing vegetables, and also emphasized the relevance of introducing innovations in agricultural enterprises and training specialists.
“The instability of the economy requires agribusinesses to respond quickly - this is the key to success and sustainability. To do this, we need to build partnerships and improve the skills of specialists,” said M.Yu. Karpukhin, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, USAU, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor.
It should be noted that the Ural State Agrarian University conducts scientific activities in all key areas of development of the country's agro-industrial complex. February 16-17, USAU will hold a scientific conference "Ensuring the technological sovereignty of the agro-industrial complex: approaches, problems, solutions." The event will be dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences and timed to coincide with the 83rd birthday of the Ural State Agrarian University. It is planned that leading scientists of educational and scientific organizations from several countries of the world will take part in it, including Russia , Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Hungary, China , Pakistan, Syria and Mali.
