The Moscow region is one of the top three in terms of the number of certified producers of organic products

The Moscow region continues to actively develop the organic sector.
“The formation and development of the market for organic products is one of the priority tasks of the agro-industrial complex of the Moscow region. In the region, 13 producers produce organic meat and dairy products, coffee and tea, strongalcohol , as well as crop products. A certificate of a manufacturer of organic products helps to form a positive image of the company, increases interest in products from potential buyers and increases the effectiveness of participation in specialized exhibitions,” said the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region -Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region Vladislav Murashov.
Organic certification is affordable for producers and allows them to differentiate their products on store shelves.
The region also has a state program “Agriculture in the Moscow Region”, within the framework of which, at the expense of the region’s budget, producers of organic products can receive a subsidy for the production of cow or goat milk.
