Innovative technologies at the service of the agro-industrial complex of Dagestan

On Thursday, March 24, a scientific and practical conference was held in the Derbent region on the topic: "On innovative technologies for improving the efficiency of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Dagestan."
The conference was attended by agrarians from many municipalities, primarily from the south of the republic, as well as managers and specialists from leading farms, scientific institutions of the republic.
The event, which was held under the leadership of the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan Sharip Sharipov, was attended by the Chairman of the Committee on Viticulture and ALCOHOL Regulation of the Republic of Dagestan Sherif Kerimkhanov, the HEAD of the Derbent region Mavsum Rahimov, a large group of scientists from outside the republic, including Moscow, Novosibirsk and Rostov.
“Given the current challenges in the agro-industrial complex, the task of expanding the practice of applying innovative technologies that can significantly increase the productivity of fields and farms and improve the efficiency of the agricultural sector as a whole becomes even more urgent. In this regard, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan is working out the possibility of attracting practices that have shown their effectiveness and intend to significantly expand work in this direction,” First Deputy Minister Sharip Sharipov emphasized opening the event.
At the conference, innovative products of the Genesis Research and Production Enterprise LLC were presented, including those that allow not only to increase the volume and quality of products, but also, importantly, to improve soil fertility. This was told by the general DIRECTOR of this company Evgeny Binyukov.
A well-known scientist, founder of the information and educational portal "Agroroom", DOCTOR of Science, Professor of the Don State Agrarian University Nikolai Zelensky made a detailed report on improving the technologies for cultivating crops, including tillage. He spoke in detail about modern approaches to solving key problems in the cultivation of major agricultural crops in the conditions of the Republic of Dagestan.
Oleg Potseluev, deputy director of this company, spoke about promising areas of cooperation between the Republic of Dagestan and NPP Genesis LLC. The emphasis in the speech was directed to the elements of the effective use of organo-mineral fertilizers in practice, which allows, at minimal cost, to significantly reduce the amount of mineral fertilizers used and increase the return.
The director of the Dagestan Experimental Station - a branch of VIR, Doctor of Science Kishtili Kurkiev, as well as acting. Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Federal Agrarian Research Center of the Republic of Dagestan" Nariman Nimatulaev. Professor of the Kuban State Agrarian University Sergey Chumakov spoke about the use of modern products in the cultivation of fruit crops. The leaders of the leading farms of Dagestan shared their vision and expressed their wishes.
We agreed to determine the base farms in various sub-sectors, on the basis of which the proposed innovative technologies, as well as products aimed at increasing the efficiency of the agro-industrial complex, will be developed.
Summing up the work of the scientific and practical conference, Sharip Sharipov noted that we see an urgent need on the part of agrarians for cooperation, in bringing modern agricultural practices into their practice. This makes me happy. And our task now is to take the necessary measures so that such modern agricultural technologies come to the Dagestan fields and livestock enterprises of the republic.
“The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan searches for scientific developments and innovative technologies that have shown their effectiveness, developed by leading domestic scientists in other regions of the country. The agrarian potential of the Republic of Dagestan makes it possible to significantly increase the volume of agricultural products produced, primarily vegetables, fruits, grapes and livestock products,” he noted.
After the conference participants got acquainted with the organization of production at a number of leading agricultural enterprises in the south of the republic. In particular, they visited the production sites of Derbent Wine Company LLC, the vineyards of DerbentAgro LLC and Tatlyar Municipal Unitary Enterprise, as well as the Dagestan Experimental Station - a branch of VIR.
