Agrarians of the Tambov region started sowing spring crops

Agricultural producers of the Tambov region have started sowing spring grain and leguminous crops, according to the regional department of agriculture.
The farmers of Petrovsky, Muchkapsky, Mordovsky, Znamensky, Zherdevsky and Tambov regions were the first to enter the fields. Plant growers sow spring wheat, peas, barley.
In total, in 2022, it is planned to sow about 660 thousand hectares of fields with spring grain and leguminous crops, which is 9.4% more than last year.
