More than 400 cases of the British strain of COVID were detected in Russia in early May

Between the May holidays, more than 400 cases of the British strain of coronavirus were detected in Russia. Such data were presented by the deputy director for scientific work of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Gorelov, RIA Novosti reports.

“Between the May holidays, more than four hundred (cases) of the British strain have been detected in the Russian Federation,” Gorelov said.
