
One of the streets of Moscow will be named after the ex-leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Vladimir Zhirinovsky. The resolution on renaming was signed by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the document is published on the website of the city government.
Zhirinovsky Street will be a section of Nezhinskaya Street along the border of the Setun River Valley nature reserve, which is located in the Ochakovo-Matveevskoye district in the Western Administrative District.
The new HEAD of the party, Leonid Slutsky, explained that the street would be located not far from Zhirinovsky's house, where he had lived for many years.
