Rospotrebnadzor revealed 101 drinking water quality violations in the Kama region

In the 1st quarter of 2022, the department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Perm Territory carried out 22 planned and 25 unscheduled control and supervision measures in relation to 78 water supply organizations. During the inspections, 101 violations of the law in the field of ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population were revealed, for the same period last year there were 82 violations, the press service of Rospotrebnadzor for the Perm Territory reports.

As a result of inspections, 63 administrative penalties were imposed in the form of a fine in the amount of 564 thousand rubles, 8 cases of bringing to administrative responsibility were sent to the courts for consideration.

In addition, 6 lawsuits were filed against organizations operating water supply systems, demanding compliance with the law.
