Putin announced the attempts of the authorities to make Russia comfortable for migrants

In a conversation with the President of Tajikistan, Vladimir Putinacknowledged that labor "is currently in short supply in entire sectors of the economy"

The Russian authorities are making every effort to make life easier for labor migrants from other countries. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin on May 8 at a meeting with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.

“We are doing everything to make people feel comfortable, especially since we currently do not have enough workers in entire sectors of the economy,” Putin said.

At the same time, the president called the issue of migrants "sensitive" for Tajikistan, noting that citizens of this country working in Russia send "a fairly large amount [of money]" to their families.

“I believe that this is an absolutely positive process,” Putin said.
