Another record: 189 people infected with coronavirus were detected in the Republic

In total, as of November 1, 30,960 cases of a new CORONAVIRUS infection were registered in Tatarstan. Over the entire period, 25,344 people recovered, including 39 over the past day.

According to the headquarters, out of 189 new cases, two are imported, the rest are contact cases. 54 people have been hospitalized, 135 are being treated at home.

In Kazan, 107 cases were confirmed per day, 28 in Naberezhnye Chelny, six in the Chistopolsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan, five each in Yelabuga, Zelenodolsky, Laishevsky, Nizhnekamsky and Spassky, four in Leninogorsky, two each in Atninsky, Baltasinsky, Bugulminsky, Mamadyshsky, Pestrechinsky, Sabinsky and Tukaevsky, one each - in Almetevsky, Vysokogorsky, Zainsky, Kukmorsky and Mendeleevsky districts.

In total, 1,578,713 people were vaccinated in Tatarstan (an increase of 22,102), of which 1,039,028 received a second vaccination.

40,402 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the country per day, the operational headquarters said. This is a new record since the start of the pandemic. The total number of infected is more than 8.5 million. In total, more than 7.3 million people have recovered. More than 239 thousand died. 1155 deaths were recorded per day.
