Novosibirsk Ministry of Health announced the number of people vaccinated against COVID-19

1.67 million people have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus in the Novosibirsk region. 1.8 million residents of the region were vaccinated with one component of the vaccine. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Novosibirsk Region Konstantin Khalzov on September 26, during an operational meeting in the government of the region.

“We continue to vaccinate against influenza. In total, 464,915 people have already been vaccinated at this stage. <...> The amount of vaccine at the points of vaccination is sufficient,” the minister said. 

The head of the Rospotrebnadzor Office for the Novosibirsk Region, Alexander Shcherbatov, said that for the first time in nine weeks, the region has seen a negative trend in the incidence of COVID-19 .
