205 new cases of COVID-19 infection registered in Don

Another 205 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 were registered in the Rostov region over the past day. Such data is provided by the information policy department of the government of the region.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, the number of people confirmed infected with coronavirus increased in the Rostov region on the morning of May 11, with a cumulative total of 90,321. Over the entire period, 80,921 people recovered in the region, including 189 over the past day.

Over the past day, four more patients with coronavirus died: two women, 72.96 years old, and two men, 65.72 years old, all with chronic diseases of the cardiovascular and other systems. Thus, for the entire period, 4134 people became victims of COVID-19 in the region.

“To date, 335,927 people have been vaccinated against a new coronavirus infection, 1,469 in a day. 224,460 people have completed vaccination (double administration of the vaccine), 2,334 in a day,” the message says.

Laboratories in the Rostov region conducted 977 tests for coronavirus infection per day. For the entire period, 2469.98 thousand studies were performed.
