
The administration of the Kursk region will deprive in 2022 of subsidies from the regional budget for road repairs and landscaping those areas that are lagging behind in vaccination rates. This was announced by the HEAD of the region Roman Starovoit, speaking at a press conference, the event was broadcast on the FACEBOOK page of the administration of the Kursk region.
“Those areas that now have less than 55% vaccinated, those areas in 2022, with the exception of national projects, will be completely excluded from regional subsidies for the improvement of territories and the reconstruction of roads,” he said.
According to the governor, 13 out of 28 districts of the region are among them. On the contrary, he instructed the regions where vaccination is progressing better to allocate additional funds from the budget for the improvement of territories and the repair of roads. As of October 6, more than 65% of those vaccinated are in six municipalities, the governor concluded.

Kursk authorities have already tightened restrictions against the backdrop of an increase in the incidence of CORONAVIRUS. Thus, a ban on mass events has been introduced in regional educational institutions. All sports competitions were ordered to be held without spectators. If competitions are held outdoors, only children who have reached the age of 14 and older can participate in them, and teenagers from 16 years old can participate indoors. All classes in circles and sections, as well as group lessons in art schools, are conducted remotely. Individual training was allowed in person.
