The State Duma has created a commission to investigate the facts of interference by other countries in the internal affairs of RUSSIA, according to the website of the lower house.

As in the previous convocation, the commission will be headed by the HEAD of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption Vasily Piskarev. The term of its work is limited by the term of office of the current convocation.

The Commission will study and analyze the facts and circumstances of interference by other countries in the internal affairs of Russia, prepare proposals for the adoption of legislative measures to combat such interference, and prepare initiatives to inform foreign parliaments, international public organizations and the media about such cases.

The commission will include 15 deputies from all factions, including Maria Butina, Oleg Matveychev and Yevgeny Revenko from United Russia, Andrei Lugovoi (LDPR) and Mikhail Delyagin (A Just Russia  - For Truth).
