Golikova explained the publication of data on the level of herd immunity

The data on vaccination of the population and herd immunity, which are now published on the stopcoronavirus.rf website, show the tension of the epidemiological situation and the impact of the vaccination campaign on the increase in mortality, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

She suggested analyzing information about vaccination using the data for the Moscow region as an example.

“These indicators characterize the intensity of the epidemiological situation in the Moscow region in this case, and the impact of these indicators on the mortality of the population,” Golikova said.

According to her, the data suggest that, despite the increase in morbidity, mortality in the Moscow region is declining. The Deputy Prime Minister clarified that the increase in the number of deaths can be overcome thanks to vaccination.
