
CHINA Eastern Airlines has resumed commercial operation of its Boeing 737-800 aircraft less than a month after the plane crash that killed 132 people. it is reported by REUTERS.
The airline emphasized that it had carried out systematic testing, structural checks and airworthiness data checks for each of the aircraft. Some of them resumed flights this past weekend.
The carrier in March suspended the operation of all Boeing 737-800s. According to estimates, there were about 160 aircraft of this model in the commercial fleet of China Eastern Airlines.
