Bashkiria will receive 237 million for vacation pay to doctors and social workers

The Russian government distributed between the regions transfers for increased vacation pay and compensation for unused rest days to doctors and social workers. The corresponding orders were signed by the Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.

In total, more than 8.3 billion rubles were allocated for these purposes. For Bashkiria, 28.7 million rubles are provided for payments to social workers and 208.4 million rubles for doctors. The Moscow region (362.9 million rubles), Yakutia (362.1 million) and St. Petersburg (343.9 million) received the most funding.

Funds are allocated from the reserve fund of the government of the Russian Federation. They will be distributed among employees who received incentive payments in 2020 for working with patients with coronavirus infection and additional workload, the documents say.

As RBC Ufa reported, in 2020 in Bashkiria , 5.4 billion rubles were transferred to incentive payments for COVID-19 to medical workers. 4 billion rubles were allocated from the federal budget, 1.4 billion from the republic's funds. For the period from April to December 2020, stimulus payments were provided to 25,320 healthcare workers.
