Ternopil region and the number of livestock is being increased

As of October 1, 2021, 34 thousand head of cattle were kept in agricultural enterprises of the Ternopil region. This is 4.3% more than the corresponding period last year. In particular, 13.5 thousand heads of cows are kept, which is 6.3% more.

This was reported to AgroPortal.ua in the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Ternopil Regional State Administration.

“I would like to note that new livestock complexes have been built in the region for several years. To date, two enterprises - Buchachagrokhlebprom LLC and Ukraine LLC - are implementing investment projects for the construction of dairy complexes and increasing the number of cattle, ”says Vladimir Stakhov, director of the department.
