Pavel Volchok was confirmed as the new Chairman of the Gantsevichi District Executive Committee, BELTA reports. Previously, Pavel Volchok served as First Deputy Chairman and
Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Gantsevichi District Executive Committee. He replaced Viktor Rafalovich as the head of the district. Brest Regional Executive Committee Chairman Pyotr Parkhomchik thanked him for his work. "We have managed to create a strong working team.
It is very important that this is evident in the performance of the Gantsevichi District. I am confident that the team led by Pavel Viktorovich will strive to occupy the top positions," the head of the Brest Region noted.
According to Pyotr Parkhomchik, Gantsevichi is a beautiful, pleasant, and well-maintained city. The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee urged the new head of the Gantsevichi District to maintain the current momentum and build on the results achieved. Priority should be given to agriculture, particularly
milk production and livestock welfare.
"Another issue I would like to address concerns the future of your district, including innovative and investment development," said Petr Parkhomchik. He noted that construction of a unique blood plasma processing plant is nearing completion in Gantsevichi and urged continued progress on this large-scale project. "It is crucial to identify the next areas of active growth in industry and agricultural processing. We must seek out and invite partners. We must have as many ideas as possible," the Chairman emphasized, adding that social issues and public amenities must not be overlooked.
Viktor Rafalovich, in turn, has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee. He will oversee the social sphere.
