Processing enterprises reduce the purchase of raw milk

According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine for 9 months of the year, the purchase of milk by processing enterprises decreased. Compared to the same period last year, the reduction was 10.9%. – PioneerProduct

At the same time, supplies from industrial producers - dairy farms decreased by 4.7%, as of October 1, 2021 they amounted to 1 million 857 thousand tons. This is 80.5% of the total volume of 2 million 306 thousand tons purchased by enterprises.

Receipts from households decreased by 24.4%: 448.9 thousand tons, which is 19.5% of the total supply.

With the production of 4 million 732.8 thousand tons in 9 months, the households of the population handed over for processing about 10% of the milk produced, and agricultural enterprises 90% of the produced 2 million 79.9 thousand tons.

At the same time, for the year September 2020/September 2021, processing enterprises increased the purchase of milk of the extra variety by 6.8%, and 1 variety by 1.4%, while significantly, by 15-25%, reducing the purchase of milk of other varieties.
