November 6, Mozyr. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is urging citizens to ensure that everyone contributes to the country's overall development in their own right. He made this statement at a ceremony in Mozyr, across the Pripyat River, BelTA reports.
"The situation is difficult, very difficult (around the country – BelTA). I'm simply not dumping it all on you. I've always asked one thing of you: give me the economy. Give me bridges, roads, milk , meat , and so on. As for military issues, I'm in charge of security. I'll resolve them, and I know how to resolve them. So far, things are working out more or less," the head of state said. "So get ready to do a good job. Remember that what you haven't done, no one else will do. Not me, not anyone else. Everyone must do their job. Everyone is responsible for their own piece of land, their own piece of work, and they must do it. That's the main thing. Discipline, discipline, and more discipline," Lukashenko added.
