What Lukashenko instructed following the results of the big selector

July 21, MINSK . As a result of a conference call on the harvesting campaign held on July 21, President of Belarus ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO gave a number of important instructions, BelTA has learned.

Among the topical topics discussed at the event were the issues of financing agricultural organizations, including the purchase of fuel. In this regard, the HEAD of state instructed the government to gather the chairmen of the regional executive committees in the near future and together with them solve problematic issues. "Where you need help, turn your shoulder. Where people are lying and don't want to work, make suggestions," the President addressed Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko.

Alexander Lukashenko paid special attention to the topic of choosing the main agricultural crops, which should be the main focus. it was about winter barley, corn and rapeseed.

Explaining the advantages of winter barley for Belarusian agriculture, the President stressed that no one insists on the artificial planting of this crop throughout the country, so there is no need to draw parallels with the spread of corn under Nikita Khrushchev.

“I emphasize: winter barley is not my invention, we cultivated it a long time ago, but according to the leftover principle. We have never paid special attention to this crop, and it needs to be given special attention if you decide to cultivate it,” the Belarusian leader said.

“This is a capricious crop, it is good where technologies are observed (in principle, like any other crop, but winter barley is first of all), the President said. “I think there will be winter barley. It survived the disasters of the past and this year and gave a good harvest.” In some fields in Belarus, its yield reaches 70-100 q/ha.

An important factor in favor of cultivating this crop is the early harvesting time - before the start of the mass harvesting campaign, which makes it possible to test the equipment in advance, prepare machine operators and other personnel. "But ironclad observance of technologies and appropriate selection of fields are needed," the head of state warned.

Alyaksandr Lukashenka positively assessed the prospects for rapeseed cultivation: "This is a good money crop, and it needs to be dealt with. Both winter barley and rapeseed, especially winter rapeseed, require the strictest observance of technology." Even with a yield of 35 q/ha, winter rape yields a very good income. "The Chinese are asking to increase the supply of rapeseed oil to them. And the Europeans, whatever the sanctions , will be happy to take this oil from you. And we need to slowly accustom our population to rapeseed oil. It is no worse than sunflower oil, and in many respects even better," the President said.

At the same time, he stressed that in no case does he insist on the need for the widespread cultivation of these crops, the expediency of this should be assessed locally. "There is no need to put pressure: 'Let's cultivate, as Nikita Sergeevich once demanded to cultivate corn.' Although he was right. Even here, in Belarus. Take this year - if there was no corn, it would be very difficult for us. Despite the drought, corn in all fields gives a good result. Therefore, today there is no need to throw corn on the side of a person who is no longer there and who turned out to be right," Alexander Lukashenko said.

"These two cultures will exist, they need to be cultivated," the President summed up. "But technology and technology again. There will be nothing without technology."

Continuing the conversation about technological discipline, the President focused on observing rational approaches to preparing the soil for future crops and organizing stubble cultivation in cases where it is not rational to harvest straw for livestock needs. Rationally, according to Alexander Lukashenko, one should treat corn crops, having decided on the strategy: what to cook for silage and what to leave for grain. The President also spoke about the purchase of seeds that are not produced in our country, for example, alfalfa. According to the head of state, in this case it is advisable to organize a general purchase for the needs of all agricultural organizations, which will allow purchasing seeds at a better price due to significant volumes.

One of the instructions of the head of state concerned the additional provision of agricultural organizations with machine operators during the harvesting campaign. "The most important thing is that this year we must complete the development of the practice of inviting machine operators from outside, especially from industrial enterprises. We must clearly understand how much we will need this year and next," the President emphasized.

“The authorized officers and assistants should immediately go to the places and provide all possible support to the governors and regions in organizing the harvesting campaign. How you will work there is up to you, just don’t interfere,” Alexander Lukashenko voiced another instruction.

The President also noted that he receives complaints about untimely payments by processing enterprises for products supplied to agricultural organizations and farmers. In particular, it was about MILK and MEAT . "This, Roman Alexandrovich (Golovchenko, Prime Minister. - Approx. BelTA), is unacceptable. You need to find money anywhere, " the head of state stressed.

Speaking about the situation in agriculture in general, the President noted: "I see that a lot of work has been done to prepare the harvest . People understand that we need to mobilize today, our future depends on it." At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that this year there is a possibility for certain crops not to reach the planned harvest volume. But this does not cause much concern, since in more productive years, a sufficient stock was formed in the country, including grain. "We have a million tons of grain in reserve - what I have always demanded of you: let there be a reserve. Today there are no problems, we can easily cover this shortfall from our reserves. Plus: we see cheap grain - we need to buy it," the head of state said.

Alexander Lukashenko stressed that this issue should be approached like a peasant, like a village. "The reserve is not good." It is necessary to have reserves, stocks. Whatever it costs us, we need to look not only around, but also inside at our reserves, which we can use," the President noted.

The head of state directed all responsible officials in the center and locally to actively conduct the harvesting campaign and take it very seriously: “I repeat once again: there is no time for a buildup . We have already started to harvest winter barley and partly on rapeseed, even in the Vitebsk region we have already started harvesting wheat. " .
